A journey began in a small hangar on the west side of Van Nuys airport with a desire to improve the design of a beautiful and fast aircraft. The center strip of the 2-piece windshield was removed and a single piece windshield was created. Thus, Beryl D’Shannon was born. In 1965 we developed the speed sloped windshield which has become the most popular installation in the fleet. That was over forty years ago. Looking back, we know now we made the right airframe choice to build upon. 

Today we still see that handiwork and love for the Beechcraft fleet. The Genesis Conversion™ by D’Shannon represents the pinnacle of that effort.
